Guide on Diverting Calls with Travel Sim
TravelTalk SIM lets you easily set a Call Divert on your TravelTalk Mobile number if you want to use any other landline or mobile number in a particular country to receive calls. This can be pretty useful if the cost of receiving a call is too high in a certain country from your TravelTalk SIM.
All you need to do is to send us a Text message from your TravelTalk Mobile number to our UK Mobile shortcode '80404' with the desired number where you want your calls to be forwarded.
Call Diverts can be activated & deactivated from anywhere in the World. Just Text the relevant message to 80404 from your TravelTalk Mobile number.
Set any UK number to receive your diverted calls
You can set any UK landline or mobile number to receive your diverted calls. Just send a Text message from your TravelTalk SIM with the message DIVERT TO 07xxxxxxxxx (where you will replace the 'x' with the UK mobile number) where you want your calls to be diverted. You can also divert calls to a UK landline in the same manner.
For Example:
- Compose a Text message & write the following
- DIVERT TO 07777006007
- Send the message to 80404 from your TravelTalk Mobile number
- You will receive a Confirmation message on your TravelTalk Mobile number about the Activation
This will send all your incoming calls to the UK mobile number 07777006007 at all times after the Call Divert has been activated on the TravelTalk SIM.
Set any International number to receive your diverted calls
You can set any International landline or mobile number to receive your diverted calls. Just send a Text message from your TravelTalk SIM with the message DIVERT TO 00xxxxxxxxxxxx (where you will replace the 'x' with the full international number) where you want your calls to be diverted.
For Example:
- Compose a Text message & write the following
- DIVERT TO 0013136725825
- Send the message to 80404 from your TravelTalk Mobile number
- You will receive a Confirmation message on your TravelTalk Mobile number about the Activation
This will send all your incoming calls to the USA landline number 0013136725825 at all times after the Call Divert has been activated on the TravelTalk SIM.
Cancel Call Divert at any time
You can cancel Call Divert at any time by sending us a Text message with the following.
- Compose a Text message & write the following
- DIVERT OFF
- Send the message to 80404 from your TravelTalk Mobile number
- You will receive a Confirmation message on your TravelTalk Mobile number about the Deactivation
This will cancel any divert activated on your TravelTalk SIM. You will then be able to receive calls on your TravelTalk Mobile number.
